Refund Policy

Clear guidelines for refunds and cancellations on the platform

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued on the PickleSchedule platform ("PickleSchedule," "we," "us," or "our"). It applies to all of the following: (i) "Organizers" who host pickleball sessions and receive payments, and (ii) players who pay for participation; and (iii) the PickleSchedule platform. All users agree to be bound by the refund policy selected for each session.

1. REFUND POLICY OPTIONS

Organizers may select one of the following refund policies when creating a session:

A. No Refunds

Players will not receive any refund if they cancel or fail to attend. If the Organizer cancels the session, all players will receive a full refund.

B. No Refunds Within 24 Hours (Default)

No refunds if a player cancels within 24 hours of the session start time. Cancellations made earlier are eligible for a full refund.

C. No Refunds Within 48 Hours

No refunds if a player cancels within 48 hours of the session start time. Cancellations made earlier are eligible for a full refund.

2. SESSION CANCELLATIONS

If a session is cancelled by the Organizer, all registered players will automatically receive a full refund. Funds may take 5–7 business days to appear in the player's account.

3. GENERAL REFUND GUIDELINES

  • All payments and refunds are processed through Stripe.
  • Players added to a session from a waitlist or within one hour of the session are responsible for payment.
  • If a player is not eligible for an automatic refund, they may contact the Organizer to request an exception. It is at the Organizer's sole discretion to approve or deny such requests.
  • Service Fees and Stripe processing fees are non-refundable.

4. DISPUTES & ORGANIZER RESPONSIBILITY

  • If a player is eligible for a refund, PickleSchedule will process the refund on behalf of the Organizer, provided funds are available.
  • If PickleSchedule processes a refund before receiving funds from the Organizer, the Organizer must reimburse PickleSchedule.
  • Organizers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PickleSchedule from any refund-related claims by players or third parties.

5. CHARGEBACKS & MISUSE

  • All refund disputes should first be directed to the Organizer.
  • PickleSchedule reserves the right to investigate and make a final determination on disputes.
  • Repeated abuse of chargebacks or refund requests may result in account suspension or termination.

6. POLICY CHANGES

PickleSchedule may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and mobile apps. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised policy.
