Financial transaction guidelines for fair and secure payments

By using the PickleSchedule platform, including our iOS and Android mobile applications and website (https://www.pickleschedule.ai), you agree to the following Payment Terms, which govern financial transactions on the platform. These Terms are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and accountability among all users.

1. SERVICE FEES AND PAYMENT PROCESSING

PickleSchedule offers paid features, including but not limited to the "Pickle PairUp" subscription, match scheduling assistance, and related services. Payment processing is securely facilitated by Stripe. All users engaging in payments through the platform must agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

We may charge a subscription or one-time fee for premium features. Fees will be transparently disclosed prior to confirmation of payment. All purchases are denominated in USD and processed in accordance with your selected payment method.

You authorize PickleSchedule to securely store and charge your payment method for ongoing subscriptions and other applicable transactions.

2. STRIPE FEES AND REVENUE DISTRIBUTION

If you receive payments via PickleSchedule (e.g., for organizing premium sessions), you agree to create a connected Stripe account. Funds transferred to you will be net of:

  • Stripe payment processing fees
  • Any applicable PickleSchedule platform fees (e.g., 10% of transaction or $1 minimum)
  • Applicable taxes or regulatory charges

You are solely responsible for compliance with local tax reporting obligations. Stripe provides reporting tools and tax documentation for your account.

3. REFUND POLICY

All payments are governed by our separate Refund Policy. PickleSchedule reserves the right to modify the Refund Policy at any time. Users are encouraged to review the current version before each transaction.

4. CHARGEBACKS

Users are responsible for all charges made through their account. If you initiate a chargeback for a valid charge, PickleSchedule reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account.

Organizers are responsible for managing disputes related to chargebacks. This includes providing proof of service delivery, communication records, and acceptance of terms by the player.

PickleSchedule may assist in facilitating communication but is not liable for chargeback losses. Repeated or abusive chargebacks may result in removal from the platform.

5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizers must clearly communicate pricing, availability, and terms of service to players before accepting payments.
  • Players are responsible for understanding the cost of services and subscription renewals before authorizing any transaction.
  • All users agree not to circumvent the PickleSchedule platform to avoid fees or Stripe payment processing.

6. PLATFORM LIABILITY

PickleSchedule AI, LLC acts solely as a facilitator of payments. We are not liable for injuries, losses, damages, or disputes arising from participation in matches, events, or user-organized sessions.

All transactions are made at your own risk. You agree to release PickleSchedule from any claim arising from your use of the payment features.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PickleSchedule AI, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors against any claim, demand, or liability arising from:

  • Your use of the payment platform
  • Your violation of these Payment Terms
  • Disputes between you and other users

8. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to modify these Payment Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the app or website. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
